Industrial estate to be set up at Chakwal Motorway



ISLAMABAD  - Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) would establish an industrial estate in collaboration with Chakwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) at Nila Dullah, Chakwal to facilitate the growth of industrial activities.
This was stated by Zafar Bakhtawari, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, while exchanging views with Maj General (r) Yaqoob Khan. He said that a portion of industrial estate would also be allocated for Export Processing Zone (EPZ) which would create job opportunities, bringing in new technology and know-how, and attract foreign investment.
ICCI President said that Ch Pervaiz Elahi, Deputy Prime Minister, was also principally agreed to establish an industrial estate at Chakwal Moterway because of relatively affordable property prices.
He was of the view that establishment of interchange at Nila Dullah will bring numerous benefits to the people of surrounding areas and give boost to economic activities while establishment of Export Processing Zones in all over the country would enable the businessmen of those areas to increase their exports.
Speaking on the occasion, Yaqoob Khan assured his support for establishing interchange at Nila Dullah and urged the leaders of all the political parties to provide help for establishing industrial estate at Chakwal Motorway by burying their political differences.
