KOT RADHA KISHAN - Former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf said on Friday that the time had come for his return to the country in order to “change the fate of the masses”. Addressing a public meeting at a playground at Sandha Chistana village on phone, he said that he would soon return to the country and hold a big public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan. The former president said that Pakistan is very rich in resources but the rulers had destroyed the national economy. He said that law and order in the country was very poor and there were terrorist activities in every corner of the country. He said that the masses were facing problems due to wrong policies of the rulers. He claimed that he had the ability to change the destiny of the nation and put her on the path to prosperity. Meanwhile, players and spectators who were present at the ground criticised the All Pakistan Muslim League workers for disturbing their inter-district match that was underway at the ground for the public meeting. They said that it was not fair as they came to the ground from other districts to watch the volleyball matches. The match was organised by the APML, but the players and the spectators were not informed of the address of Pervez Musharraf.
