QUETTA - Two coalminers were killed in a blast inside a coalmine in Margat area, some 40 kilometers away from Quetta, on Friday.
According to reports, two miners were busy in extracting coal from a mine in Margat coalfield when a blast occurred due to emission of gases inside a mine. Resultantly, both miners were killed on the spot.
Rescue workers retrieved the bodies from the mine and shifted them to hospital. The bodies were dispatched to Quetta for burial.
