LAHORE – Valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes as huge fire erupted in a garments factory located in the Nishtar Colony police limits, rescuer workers said on Friday.
The fire which broke out because of short-circuiting engulfed the entire building within no time. Several firefighting units reached the factory site at the Ferozepur Road and managed to put out the fire after hectic efforts. However, no casualty was reported in the incident. Further investigations were underway.
