Six children of a family lost their lives and two others injured critically when wall of a dilapidated haweli collapsed here in village Pindi Kheran in the suburbs of Saidwala on Saturday.

According to details, the ill-fated children were playing in the haweli when the wall caved in. The locals rushed to the spot and pulled out the six children dead from under the debris while two others were injured who were rushed to hospital.

All of the victims of the tragic incident is said to be cousins and two of them real brothers. The children were aged between 4-13 years.

The children who lost their lives were identified as two real brothers Amjid Ali, Muhammad Shoaib and their cousins Umar Daraz, Rehana, Sidra and Muhammad Amjid. The police also reached the scene after the incident.

Meanwhile, moving scenes were witnessed when the bodies of the children were brought to their homes.
