Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that the rulers are trying to flee from local government elections but the PTI candidates have entered the ground and they will not let the government rig the polling process.
Talking to party workers and prospective candidates here at his residence on Saturday, he added that the rulers clearly saw their humiliating defeat in the coming elections and therefore they wanted to flee from the election. He declared that the PTI had finalised its panels and its candidates were fully prepared to contest the polls. He warned the government that if it tried to rig the election, the PTI workers would stop it with force.
He strongly criticised the government and said that it completely failed to deliver. He maintained that sky-rocketing prices crushed the poor public but the rulers did nothing to offer relief to the people. “Instead they’re going to give another wave of price hike as a gift of New Year to the poor public,” he lamented. He claimed that the PTI would sweep local government elections across the country.
