His performance has put a question mark on the performance of Pakistan National Squash Academy as it failed to produce a single player yet. Zaman lost 7-11, 11-5, 11-7, 5-11, 10-12. Tayyab Aslam beat Zahir 11-4, 1-11, 11-4 and 14-12, Israr Ahmed beat Shahjhan Khan 8-11, 11-8, 11-4 and 11-9 and Asim Khan beat Ali Mujtaba 11-6, 11-6 and 11-3 to complete semi-finals line-up. In females’ category, Sadia Gul, Zoya Khalid, Madina Zafar and Faiza Zafar moved to semis.
