Thailand urges Pakistan, India to hold talks

Thailand has urged Pakistan and India to hold talks for regional progress and prosperity. Thailand's Director General for South Asia, Mideast and African Affairs said this while talking to journalists of SAARC countries at a conference titled "The Wonder of Friendship" in Bangkok on Thursday. He said Samjhota Express tragedy affected the peace process between Pakistan and India. Later, Mumbai attacks fumed the tension in the region. "Pakistan and India are two important countries and their better relations could guarantee peace in the region."
