It pains me to see how lawyers came out to support one of their own, an accused murderer of an innocent minor girl. It pains me further to see that none of the ex-servicemen, or servicemen, for that matter came out in support of Azam Ikram, son of the slain decorated war veteran Colonel (R) M. Ikram Khan. The Chief Secretarys driver and the Chief Secretary himself should be held accountable for hit-and-run and negligence. I refuse to believe that any mans life is more important than that of another. I pray that we are able to honor a soldier who fought for his country twice. -ALI NAWAZ GONDAL, Lahore, January 27.
