PESHAWAR - A bomb went off outside the Hujra of a former brigadier in Kohat Saturday.  However, no loss of life was reported in the blast.

According to sources in police, explosives planted by unidentified miscreants outside the main gate of the Hujra (guesthouse) of a retired brigadier, Asad Gul, at Meri Colony in Kohat, damaging its boundary wall, gate and garage.

Police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.

Militant killed in FR Kohat: A militant was killed and another sustained injuries in clashes with forces in FR Kohat Saturday. A security man sustained wounds in the clashes.

The peace militia and security forces jointly conducted an operation against militants in Jowagai area in FR Kohat, killing a miscreant and wounding another. 

However, the forces retook the Jando Sir hilltop.
