PESHAWAR – Elders of North Waziristan Agency have appealed to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar to take solid steps for establishment of ‘Fata Medical College’ in North Waziristan Agency.
They said that they would not allow establishment of the college in any other agency. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday at Peshawar Press Club, elders of the agency including Malik Niaz Khan, Malik Rabnawaz Khan, Mulvi Abdur Rahman and Malik Khalik Noor said that the former Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Owias Ghani and ex-SES Habib Ullah had given approval of Fata Medical College in North Waziristan agency and Political Agent (PA) along with agency surgeon had selected Pir Kali Tapi Dawar place for establishment of the college.
They added that Dawar tribe had provided five hundred Kanals land without any compensation for the establishment of the college and health department also prepared feasibility report and sent to health directorate for further action.

“The agency people have provided land for the establishment of the college without any compensation but now it is being tried to transfer the college from the agency” they said adding that they would not allow in any condition to transfer the college to any other agency.
The college, they said would be establish in the concerned tribal agency and if someone tried to replace the college in other area or have differences, all the people of the agency would defend with them and the whole responsibility of any untoward occurrence would be on the opponents of the college.
