SARGODHA - The acting district and sessions judge reportedly changed his decision and granted bail to a policewoman after the lawyers boycotted the legal proceedings in here and went on strike.

An interim bail application of a lady police constable namely Sajidah had been filed in the court. Additional District and Session Judge Malik Mushtaq Elahi Bingi who was working as acting District & Session Judge of Sargodha dismissed the bail application. Whereupon, Azhar Shah Advocate expressed his disagreement to the court decision and alleged that his application had been rejected without hearing arguments.  Meanwhile a group of lawyers protested against the attitude the police outside the court. Later, the lawyers announced strike but after successful negotiations, the court accepted the bail application.

SUSPECT BEARING HEAD MONEY HELD: The Mianwali police have arrested a suspect bearing Rs1 million head money during an operation in Mosa Kheil.  According to the police, Muhammad Ameer alias Meera was a proclaimed offender. Officials said that he was involved in 90 cases including 12 murders, kidnapping for ransom, car snatching and other heinous crimes.

On a tip-off, the police along with the Elite Police Force personnel carried out an operation and arrested him with illegal arms.
