LAHORE – On completion of a weeklong training course, the Provincial Police Chief Javed Iqbal distributed certificates among SHOs appointed for Model Police Stations across the Punjab. For this purpose, a certificate distribution ceremony held at Management and Professional Development Department on Saturday. On this occasion, IG Punjab Javed Iqbal said that he expected from them that they will proof themselves as professional, dedicated and devoted officers by discharging their duties professionally.
He also hoped that these SHOs can bridge the gap between the public and police and make the department a dignified, credible and graceful institution. Various lectures have been delivered to the selected SHOs on topics of Public Dealing,
Thana Culture, Police Practical Work, Strategies to Control Corruption in Police, Concept of Model Police Station, Terrorism & Extremism, Leadership and Supervision, Community Policing and Media Handling (through any mean of management).
The IGP Javed Iqbal, Addl. IG R&D Malik Khuda Bukish Awan, Addl. IG Training Sarmad Saeed, DIG Police Amjad Javed Saleemi and DPR to IGP Mrs Nabeela Ghazanfar Mashkoor Khan also delivered the lectures on this occasion. Addl. IG R&D Malik Khuda Bukish Awan, Secretary MPDD Shahida Malik and SSP Raja Riffat also attended the ceremony.
