LAHORE – PML-Q doesn’t believe in implementation of Sharia through force and it stresses upon the need for promoting message of peace and brotherhood among the countrymen, says Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, PML-Q chief.

He expressed these views while talking to JUI-F chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman on telephone on Saturday to congratulate the latter for holding a successful public meeting in Karachi. Fazal had given a similar message to all and sundry at his Karachi rally the other day.

Shujaat said that religious forces have an important role in the politics of the country, adding that the religio-political forces should play their role for the promotion of Islam and strengthening democracy.

Without naming some forces, PML-Q chief said that there were behind the scene forces employing various tactics to create hindrances to convert Pakistan into a welfare state.

He said that all the political parties should play their due role to put the country’s economy on the road to progress, adding that transparent elections were the guarantee to strengthen democracy further.

Meanwhile, PML-Q central secretary information, Kamil Ali Agha alleging the Chief Minister Punjab for adopting incompetent policies claimed that people were dying due to theses policies.

He added that provincial government has failed to control stop the spread of spurious drugs, fake mosquito spray and unhygienic food at public places, resultantly the death toll of the common man in the province rising by every passing day.
