LAHORE - The PML-N’s Lawyers Forum hosted a reception on Wednesday in honour of Muhammad Ahmad Qayyum who is contesting election of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) for the position of Secretary.

A large number of lawyers from all over the district bars across the province attended the reception. Besides Muhammad Ahmad Qayyum, former MNA and senior advocate Ch Naseer Bhutta, Sharif Zafar Joya, Rana Asad, Asad Gilani and others spoke on the occasion.

In his address, Muhammad Ahmad Qayyum promised to make struggle for resolving problems of the lawyers, especially young ones, after elected to the office of LHCBA Secretary.

Honoured by the support of PML-N’s Lawyers Forum, the hopeful candidate pledged to resolve problems of the legal fraternity which include healthcare and residential facilities.

Ch Naseer, in his speech, assured Ahmad Qayyum of victory in elections with thumping majority.

Sharif Zafar Joya said that Ahmad Qayyum was a highly competent and devoted candidate. “Muhammad Ahmad would prove a true representative of the lawyers as Secretary of the Bar,” he added.

Rana Asad said that Ahmad Qayyum and his family had a history of service to the profession and community.

In the end of the ceremony, a huge gathering of lawyers vouched for Muhammad Ahmad Qayyum.
