LAHORE  - Liaqatabad police claimed to have smashed a gang of robbers on Wednesday by arresting three of its members involved in several incidents of street crimes. The Liaqatabad police have also recovered four mobile phones and three pistols and 13 bullets from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that a police team headed by Liaqatabad police station Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Idrees arrested three members of Billo gang.
The arrested bandits were identified as Muhammad Ramazan alias Billo, Amir Saeed, and Ali Hassan.
Further investigations were underway.
Street crimes are on a rise in the provincial metropolis. On the orders of high-ups in police department, cops are focussing on crimes of henious nature.
