islamabad - The National Book Park here at head office of National Book Foundation (NBF) is attracting number of people particularly book readers. The Book Park was established in order to provide healthy and peaceful atmosphere to the visitors and book readers in federal capital. The visitors of Book Park praised the Foundation’s efforts in promoting reading culture in the country through various projects. They said that the Book Park is an unique project conceived by the management of the NBF that will serve to bring people closer to books. An official of NBF told APP that importance of books has not been and can never be denied, rather with the passage of every day there is a steady rise in the number of readers.
NBF’s book park, he said provides ideal opportunity to visitors to sit and read something as once it used to be and everyone had time to relax and read. He said the Book Park was setup in the memory of great poets, writers and philosophers of the country.
