LAHORE - Syed Nofil Kaleem and Noor Malik lifted 2nd Alam Al-Khayal Tennis Ranking Championship 2016 U-18 singles titles here at the Bagh-e-Jinnah tennis courts on Thursday. In the U-18 boys’ final, Nofil outpaced Harris Irfanul Haq 6-2, 6-3. Both the finalists played well but Nofil played superbly to clinch the title. Nofil partnering with Irfanul Haq also stole the U-18 doubles show as they overwhelmed Aman Attique Khan and Talha Bin Asif 6-2, 7-5 to claim the title.

In U-18 girls’ final, defending champion Noor Malik thrashed Esha Jawad 6-4, 6-0 to claim the title. In U-10 final, Bilal Asim beat Maha Said 9-7 for title while U-12 title was lifted by Sami Zaib who defeated Abdul Hanan Khan 8-2 and U-14 title was won by Shoaib Khan who outlasted Abdul Sami 6-1, 5-7, 6-2. At the concluding ceremony, chief guest Saira Qazi Dar distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winners and runner-ups.

Alam Al-Khayal foundation president Barrister Nudra B Majeed, PLTA secretary Raseed Malik, chief referee Faheem Siddique, Haider Ismael, Shehryar Salamat and tennis players and their families were also present on the occasion.
