Nineteen outlaws held, arms, drugs recovered

Islamabad - The Islamabad Police arrested 19 outlaws including eight gamblers and recovered arms, drugs, stake money and other valuables during separate actions in different areas of the capital on Sunday.

Under supervision of SHO Sihala Inspector Shaukat Ali, a police team comprising Sub-Inspector Gulfraz, ASI Zulfqar along with others raided at the gambling den in Bahria Town and arrested eight gamblers red handed besides recovering stake money of Rs71,910, two laptops, 23 mobile phones, computer, LED, dish receivers, calculators, and gambling tools from them.

The nabbed persons were identified as Imran, Tariq, Zia-Ul-Hassan, Sheraz, Javed, Irfan, Arif, and Sajjad.

ASI Zulfqar arrested two impersonators Adeel Iqbal and Ghulam Abbas and recovered fake card and wireless set from their possession.

Sub-Inspector Gulfraz recovered 500 grams of hashish from the possession of an accused Tariq.

Furthermore, Inspector Ashraf recovered one pistol along with ammunition. Sub-Inspector Walayat Khan of Aabpara police station arrested accused Faisal Gul and recovered 110 grams of heroin from him.

Sub-Inspector Ashraf of Secretariat police arrested Asif Mehmood and recovered 260 grams of hashish from him.

SI Zahid Akhtar of Kohsar police station arrested a drug pusher Sajjad Iqbal and recovered 600 grams of hashish and 100 grams of heroin from him.

ASI Raees of Kohsar police arrested Arif Saleem and recovered 20 litters of wine from him.

ASI Ramzan of Karachi Company police arrested Fayyaz Ishaq and recovered 10 wine bottles from him.  Sub-Inspector Shams Akber of Ramana police arrested Sajjad Ahmed and recovered 1,490 grams of hashish from his possession.

ASI Attaullah of Sabzi Mandi police arrested Asif Ali and recovered snatched cash from his custody.

Separate cases into the incidents were registered at concerned police stations and investigation was in progress.
