ISLAMABAD - Iran and Turkey yesterday strongly condemned the terrorist incident in Kech area of Balochistan. In a tweet, the Iranian embassy in Pakistan consoled the death of a number of Pakistani security forces and expressed its condolences to the government and people of Pakistan and families of the victims. Meanwhile, the Turkish foreign ministry also condemned the incident. “We received the news with deep sorrow that 10 Pakistani soldiers were martyred as a result of an attack perpetrated against a check-point in Balochistan of friendly and brotherly Pakistan,” said a Turkish foreign ministry statement. It added: “We convey our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack, as well as to the people and Government of Pakistan, and reiterate once again that we will always stand by Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.”
