ISLAMABAD (APP) - A Spokesman of Utility Stores Corporation (USC) on Wednesday has contradicted a news item appeared in a section of press that prices of sugar has been increased by Rs 10 per Kg. No formal Decision/Notification of the Federal Government in this context has so far been received. Hence sugar will continue to be sold at the rate of Rs 45 per kg at USC outlets, he remarked. The Spokesman further said that Zonal Managers and Regional Managers have been directed to exercise strict monitoring and control at stores and ensure that no overpricing of Sugar is done by any Store Incharge and the Sugar is available to all the customers at the rate of Rs 45 per kg.
