ISLAMABAD - Mishah Daud, a soccer player of Diya Football Club, Karachi, and a former national athlete Zafar Saleem also lost their lives in the plane crash here Wednesday. Nishah was arriving here to participate in the ongoing 6th National Womens Football Championship 2010, which started on 26th July at the Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex. According to President Islamabad Football Association, Dr Fazal-ur-Reham, Nishah was going to represent her team in the event. Nishah Daud came from America a few days back and wanted to take part in the match against Punjab, which was scheduled for Wednesday. Her mother was persisting her not to go to Islamabad but her teammates insisted her (Misha) to visit Islamabad. Zafar Saleem, a former national athlete, represented Sindh province in various national sports events. His elder brother Arshad Saleem was also a former international athlete in the same discipline.
