E-citizen service for matric students

LAHORE - The Punjab government has introduced an internet service for the students to apply for admissions in colleges.
This facility is available for over 200 public colleges across the province.
“One who passes matriculation examination can enter roll number in given website, select any college or programme in which he wants to take admission,” claimed an official of education department adding the applicants could submit their forms in different colleges and programmes simultaneously.
He also upheld the colleges would receive applicant’s information automatically and their matriculation results would also be visible to colleges. Through this service, the students can track their application status online as well.
