KARACHI - PML-N Sindh Secretary Information Ali Akbar Gujjar has demanded the Sindh government to take concrete steps aimed at providing relief to the masses despite issuing needless statements.

Talking to the party workers here Sunday, Gujjar said that his party would take all-out steps strengthening democratic values in the country. “The PML-N respects the mandate of all political parties and is struggling to facilitate the masses,” he said adding it is need of the hour that the Sindh government should take steps to address various issues including the current poor law and order situation in the province especially Karachi.

He said that Karachi, one of the biggest cities of the world, is facing shortage of potable water and the masses have been left with no other option but to purchase water at high rates. He went on to say that the residents of Baldia Town have been plunged into darkness due to the KESC mismanagement.

Talking about new development projects, Mr Gujjar said that a policy is required for sharing the development projects in Karachi and other parts of the province. He said the party leadership has taken decisions keeping in view the current situation of the country and it is duty of the workers to abide by them. “The party leadership is committed to restore peace of Karachi and taking result-oriented steps in this connection,” he concluded.
