PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan has said "Eid-ul-Fitr is a sacred Islamic festival bestowed by Almighty Allah on the faithful for successfully observing Ramazan with solemnity, spirit of fraternity, discipline and cohesion. 
"This occasion covers every aspect of the daily routines; the observance of religious social, civic and cultural values in particular," he said this in his message on Eid. He said that while extending his deep felicitations to the countrymen in general and of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA, in particular. "I would like to remind them to be more generous in sharing their festivities with the people living in their vicinity," he said.
He also said that they have great regard for the difficult circumstances through which their displaced tribal people are going. "Indeed maintenance of staunch bonds of unity, spirit of brotherhood, fraternity and cohesion in our rank and file may not only be the best tribute to them but also is the need of the hour to materialize the cherished goal of ensuring complete stability of the society," he maintained.
Crisis management cell
Crisis Management Cell was established here at Wapda House on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday.
On the directions of Chief Executive PESCO Tariq Saddozai, a crisis management cell has been established at WAPDA House Peshawar with the special aim to deal with any emergency during the Eid-Ul-Fitr holidays.
All necessary arrangements have been made to keep the power supply smooth during Eid holidays. Necessary equipments have been provided to all PESCO sub-divisions and complaint centres so that emergency could be tackled promptly. The PESCO issued special instructions to field formations to ensure continued power supply during Eid holidays.  In order to deal any untoward situation a crisis management cell has been established at Wapda House Peshawar under the supervision of Chief Engineer Operation Nadim Anwar. Circle, divisional and sub-divisional complaint cells of PESCO would also remain in operation to meet up any emergency.
