ISLAMABAD- Ruling PML-N has contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and extended offer for talks  on its demands to persuade PTI to call off  Azadi March.

Imran Khan has said “ Shahbaz Sharif has contacted us that he is ready to accept our demands. If fire is opened on PIT workers , we will register case against the Prime Minister (PM) Mian Nawaz Sharif.

He further said “ Chaudhry Nisar is not lackey and PTI doors are always open to him. As per private TV channel finance minister Ishaq Dar and chief minister Punjab Ishaq Dar have contacted Imran Khan.

Talking to private TV channel PTI spokesman Naeem ul Haq confirmed the reports about such contacts saying one PTI leader has met finance minister in Saudi Arabia and during the meeting Ishaq Dar has made offer for talks with Imran Khan. Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif visited  a PTI leader to inquire about his health and told  the latter he wanted   negotiations with  Imran Khan.

He said that no direct contact has taken place so far with PML-N leadership. If the latter contacts with our party leadership then we will present our demands before them. But no direct contact has been made by PML-N leadership so far.

Talking to a private TV channel on his way from Kohat to Bannu, Imran Khan said “ Shahbaz Sharif has contacted his party and he is ready to accept our demands. “We will challenge implementation of article 245 in Supreme Court. We will sacrifice our blood if we have to do so and will sit in Islamabad  till the acceptance of our demands.

He held “ army should not side with government and should stay neutral. If any bullet is fired on a single worker of PTI by army or police then we will register the case of murder against Nawaz Sharif.

Imran stated  that he could muster  Tahir ul Qadri support as he has no differences with him in terms of his demands. “ However we don’t agree with him on his agenda for revolution”, he declared.

To a question he said “Chaudhry Nisar is the only person in PML-N who is not lackey (courtier) and PTI is keeping its doors always open for him.
