Your editorial on Nandipur gives only half the information about the project. It does not say who initiated the project, or who wanted to complete it. Most importantly, it does not tell us who made sure that it would remain stalled at the consequence of damaging machinery worth $85 million, and who was willing to risk the future of Pakistan by cancelling the project. The PML-N government is trying to revive this dead horse. They should get credit for it rather than be condemned for some lapses, which are bound to happen, in a project which has been so badly mauled, right from the very beginning.
