KASUR-The Tehsil Municipal Administration has divided the city into 50 administrative wards and appointed newly-elected councillors as monitoring in-charge of each ward to ensure cleanliness in their constituencies.

Addressing the media here the other day, Kasur TMA Administrator Muhammad Shahid said that there is a need for keeping the surroundings clean as it is not only a religious duty but also necessary for maintaining a healthy environment. He said that a Cleanliness Week has been initiated during which all streets of these wards would be cleaned, adding that monitoring in-charges would monitor sanitary conditions in their wards respectively.
