MARDN - Three persons including two minors died and two persons injured in a roof collapse incident as heavy rains lashed different areas of Mardan on Wednesday.
According to local and Rescue 1122 sources, due to heavy rains 6 animals were also washed away. The sources said that roof of a house located at Tazagram Qasim in Katlang area collapsed resulting in the death of two children 4-year old Adnan and 4-month Nosheen.
In another incident a woman wa injured when a wall of her house collapsed in Jalala Takhatbhai area. In another incident at Mohabatabad a 22-year old Abdur Rehman died when roof of the room caved.
Rescue 1122 officials and local people pulled out the dead bodies and injured from the debris and shifted them to hospitals.
