LGH recruits 65 doctors

LAHORE Lahore General Hospital Administration has selected 65 doctors against the vacancies of house officers. These recruitments have been made under the PMDC Rules, House Foundation Year 2010. As many as 275 candidates were interviewed by the panel comprising Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Dr Tariq Salah Uddin, MS LGH Dr Zafar Ikram and professors of various departments at LGH on Tuesday for final selection. The selected doctors will assume their responsibilities on July 1. Principal PGMI Dr Tariq Salah Uddin said that new house physicians and surgeons have been selected purely on merit and qualification and they will be given stipend on monthly basis according to the govt rules. He expressed the hope that new recruitments would go a long way to enhance the services standard and availability of medical facilities in the hospital.
