QUETTA - Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) Quetta-II on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind,MPA, his son and his four other companions on charges of kidnapping a person. The ATC Quetta-II headed by Ameenuddin Bazai awarded life term to them on Tuesday. According to prosecution Ghulam Yaseen, a resident of Sani Shoran had registered a case against Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, MPA and chief of Rind tribe, his son Sardar Khan Rind, Sabzal Khan, Muhammad Yousaf , Allah Dina, Muhammad Din and Muhammad Yousaf on charge of kidnapping his brother Imam Din from his residence on June 17, 2009 and later the challan was produced before ATC. The learned court under Section 364A declared them as guilty and awarded life imprisonment to Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, his son and four other accused besides a fine of Rs. 50,000 each for kidnapping a person. While they were also awarded for 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 each for not appearing before the court under Section 21-L of AntiTerrorism Act. Only one accused Muhammad Din was arrested and the court acquitted him for want of proof. Meanwhile, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind while talking to media has said that he would move High Court against the verdict of ATC.
