KHANEWAL - National Highways and Motorway Police beat No-18 Khanewal has collected Rs14.83 million from drivers on account of fines for violation of traffic rules over the past ix months. This was disclosed by DSP/CPO, (NH&MW) beat No-18 Khanewal, Malik Muhammad Safdar Awan while talking to journalists in his office. According of Malik Muhammad Safdar Awan, national motorways and highways police beat no-18 Khanewal fined and collected Rs14.83 million from drivers for violating traffic rules on national highway during January, 2011 to June 27, 2011. He also informed that we also educated 26,153 people about traffic rules, 29,724 peoples were briefed and 10036 travellers were helped by national highway police during last six month. Admin Officer Syed Kifayat Ullah Shah told that our slogan is honesty is the best policy and we are proud that no one can alleged NH&MW police for any corruption. He claimed that during patrolling on highways we also watch any criminal activates on road and we have busted 36 criminals and have recovered 15 pistols of 30 bores, bullets, 2 cars and, pesticides worth Rs4.5 million looted by bandits. He said that the police had so far handed over 5 missing children to their parents.
