Stars who were ATTRACTIVE IN the ‘80s but not now

LOS ANGELES: STAR Wars bosses have held up the cruel mirror of time to Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher – telling them to get back to their former slim selves for the new movie.
Both actors will be given a top nutritionist and fitness trainer to get them back in shape before filming starts on Star Wars VII at the end of the year.
Hamill’s boyish looks in Star Wars: A New Hope secured him a league of female fans while men all over the world fantasised about Carrie’s Leia in Return of the Jedi – but their current looks won’t melt many hearts.  As the pair try to turn back time, we have a look at other actors who stole our hearts in the 80s before letting themselves go.–The Sun

Keanu Reeves
Teenage girls all over the world were left swooning by Keanu in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure but we doubt their grown-up selves would still fancy the podgy, unshaven mess the actor has recently turned into.

Val Kilmer
Despite the hedgehog-style hair, Kilmer’s steely look and chiselled bod once sent women’s hearts pumping faster. But the star of Top Gun is almost unrecognisable with long, straggly hair and more than a hint of a double chin.

Kirsty Alley
The funny kid was not the only good thing in Look Who’s Talking – with Kirsty Alley taking the yummy mummy crown. But the actress has since fought a constant battle with her weight, gaining, losing – then putting on again – several stone.

John Travolta
The Saturday Night Fever star was THE heart-throb of the 80s after Grease propelled him to superstardom and Night Fever cemented his smart look. Then came the ‘90s and the dimpled actor started losing his looks.

Matthew Broderick
Quite frankly too cool for school, his boyish charm as Ferris Bueller got Matthew posters plastered across many a teenage girl’s wall. Now married to Sarah Jessica Parker he certainly has one of the most stylish wives in Hollywood.

Steven Seagal
Admittedly, Steven Seagal’s mean, pony-tailed “Do what I say or I’ll hurt ya” look may not have been everyone’s cup of tea. But it was miles better than the overweight, beardy mess he looks on the right.

Don Johnson
Melanie Griffiths was not the only woman smitten with Don during his Miami Vice days. But just as their marriage is now a thing of the past so are the actor’s good looks as he let his face and figure fill out.

Kathleen Turner
The actress lookd so attactive then especially in The War of the Roses with Micheal Douglas but more recent years have seen Turner battlling with her increasing weight and this all could be blamed to the age.

William Shatner
He made outer space a more desirable place to be as Jim Kirk – and even the mustard yellow uniform could not ruin that. What a shame, Shatner is now a million light-years away from his hunky past.

Jack Nicholson
Nothing can take away the Joker’s attraction – even several stone too many on the scales. However, famous superstar  Jack also once looked the part as this smouldering snap shows and does not he look abit old.
