ATTOCK: State Minster for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to make Pakistan the Asian tiger through self-sufficiency.
Meanwhile, he inaugurated the restoration of Jand-Attock shuttle railcar. He said that restoration of the railcar would help provide better and economical travelling facilities especially for students, government employees and traders. He said the railcar would have seven coaches and added that it had been restored with the special efforts of Federal Minister for Railways Khawaj Saad Rafique. He said that Mr Rafique was working for the revival of Pakistan Railways.
For that purpose, he added, new railway engines were being inducted in the system. He said that his government’s priority was strong economy and prosperity of the people. He added that soon, gas facility would be provided for the residents of Attock Railway Colony. He claimed that basic facilities had been provided for 275 villages of Attock district.
Meanwhile,  people from different areas welcomed the restoration of the railcar and demanded that Bilal Express which used to run between Rawalpindi and Multan via Attock should also be restored.
