MULTAN-Following the alarming increase in acid attack incidents, the district administration launched a crackdown on illegal acid sellers and sealed three outlets besides issuing warning to many others.
A special team comprising officials from Civil Defence and Law Enforcement departments carried out the action at Dera Adda, Chowk Kumharanwala and many other areas. The team was accompanied by police contingents, who took acid containers and other items into custody. The district administration issued a warning to the traders selling acid illegally to stop this business forthwith or get ready to face police action.
