LAHORE (PR)  – Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan, Regional Directorate Lahore and Students of Development Studies Department, University of the Punjab Lahore, jointly participated in a walk to observe the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The United Nations theme for 2013 is: “Racism and Sport”, this is to highlight the problem of racism in sports, which remains a disturbing occurrence in many parts of the world, as well as to raise awareness of the role sports can play in combating racism and racial discrimination.
