ISLAMABAD - The closing ceremony of Pak-China Business Forum was held at Pak China Friendship Center Islamabad. Event was jointly organized by COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
Secretary for Science & Technology (MoST), Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar was the chief guest on the occasion. Zia Main, Chairman Pakistan Chamber of Commerce China, also attended the closing ceremony and addressed the participants. Further, Rector COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Dr S M Junaid Zaidi addressed the gathering. Pro Rector Dr Haroon Rasheed, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, faculty, students and administrative staff members of CIIT were also present on the occasion.
Dr S M Junaid Zaidi expressed his appreciation for Chinese and Pakistani participants for their active participation in the event. He also announced the holding of this Forum on annual basis in the last week of March every year. He proposed establishment of a Technology Park with the mutual coordination of ICCI and CIIT to provide a platform to Chinese and Pakistani Business community for the promotion of mutual trade activates.
