Tight security for Musharraf in Islamabad



ISLAMABAD - Federal Interior Ministry has finalised all the security arrangements for former President General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf upon his expected arrival in the capital.
Earlier, General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi had written to the Defence Ministry for the provision of foolproof security to Musharraf being former Chief of Army Staff (COAS). Upon this, Defence Ministry had requested the Interior Ministry to make necessary arrangements for his security.
Well-placed sources informed that it had been decided that an officer of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police would head the security of Pervez Musharraf and bulletproof vehicle would be provided to him.
