HAFIZABAD - Anti-TB International Day walk was organised here by the Health Department which was led by DHQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Irshad Ahmad Chattha. Anti-TB Programme Coordinator Muddassar Iqbal and all doctors, paramedical staff, nurses and large number of citizens participated in the walk to create awareness among the public regarding the prevention against the fatal disease.

After parading the main roads the walk was terminated at Vanike Chowk Hafizabad.

Later, addressing Anti-TB Seminar Programme Coordinator Muddassar Iqbal stressed the need for creating awareness about the disease to save the masses from this white menace.

He said that TB was curable disease and enumerated various preventive measures to save the masses from this fatal but curable disease. He said that arrangements had been made in all RHCs and Hospitals for diagnosis and medical treatment of the patients. 

Prominent among those who also addressed the seminar included Khurram Shahzad, Muhammad Irfan and Mian Muhammad Adrees.
