ISLAMABAD - The 2nd Safari National Women Squash Championship gets underway at Safari Club, Bahria Town Rawalpindi on Thursday.

Top ranked national players nominated by the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) are taking part in the three-day championship. Vice Chief Executive Bahria Town Cdr (retd) M Ilyas was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.

In the first match, Rushna Mahboob beat Amna Mahboob 3-0 while in the other matches, Saima Shouket beat Roma Yousaf 3-0, Haleema Nadeem beat Noor Fatima 3-0, Habiba Khan beat Numra Shahid 3-0, Amna Latif beat Mayral Sheikh 3-0, Riffat Khan beat Aroma Kamran 3-0, Zoya Khan beats Madina Zafar 3-1 and in the last match of the day, Aliya Sarfraz beat Amna Mahboob 3-1.
