Rawalpindi - The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) completed distribution of free textbooks for the upcoming academic year to partner schools in Rawalpindi and Attock districts on Saturday.
The ceremony was held at a PEF partner school in Rawalpindi. A total of 44 heads of partner schools attended the ceremony. The PEF staff distributed more than 38,000 books.
The next round of books distribution would be held on Monday, informed a PEF spokesman.
The PEF provides free textbooks as well as pays monthly fee of 1.6 million students enrolled in 4,000 partner schools so that these children could study free of cost.
