ISLAMABAD - Chinese President Xi Jinping will arrive in Pakistan on April 9 for a two-day visit.
The Chinese dignitary will meet the civil and military leadership and sign agreements in various fields during his stay in Pakistan.
According to sources, the Chinese president will arrive on April 9 and meet President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff during the visit. He is also expected to meet leaders of various political parties of Pakistan.
A high level delegation of Chinese officials will also accompany the Chinese president who is expected to sign various agreements in various fields including communication, energy and broadcast. He will also inaugurate Gwadar Port, Pak-China Economic Corridor, One Belt One Road and various other projects.
Xi Jinping is also expected to visit Saudi Arabia and Egypt after Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention here that Chinese president's visit to Pakistan had been cancelled in September due to the sit-ins in Islamabad.
