Physical Remand of prime accused in Bank of Punjab scandal Hamesh Khan has been extended for eleven days. He has been handed over to NAB and now he would be presented in the accountability court on 9th June 2010. Hamesh Khan was presented in Lahore Accountability Court here on Saturday and the accountability Court extended the remand period for further eleven days and directed to present Hamesh Khan on 9th June 2010 in the court. Counsel of Hamesh Khan said that he would not oppose extension in remand period adding that in cases as he wants a fair opportunity should be provided for his client in the investigation. Hamesh Khan in the court stated that NAB has not been forcing him to give any statement against anyone and neither mistreating him. Hamesh Khan was presented in the court under strict security shield of police and on completion of hearing from the accountability court shifted him again to Chamba House.
