The water supply project for three newly opened sectors I-14, I-15 and I-16 is in doldrums while, the allotees demanded to pace up the work on the project. According to details, water supply project in three new sectors I-14, I-15 and I-16 has been delayed because new water pipeline is being laid down from G-13. The project of Rs 200 million was to be accomplished with in one year but only 30 per cent work is completed. Capital Development Authority (CDA) sources told that they have purchased pipelines and only they have to be laid down. Sources told that the constructor is demanding to increase rates so that's why delaying the project. Director General Water Management Sana Ullah Imaan said that he has directed the constructor to pace up the work.
