LAHORE – The Punjab government will release funds worth Rs100 million during the month of July for the construction of Aiwan-e-Quaid-e-Azam Complex, a project of the Nazria Pakistan Trust (NPT), said Senior Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa while presiding over a meeting at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam here on Monday.

Former Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr Rafique Ahmed, NPT General Secretary Shahid Rasheed, Secretary Finance, Additional Secretary Information and Secretary P&D also attended the meeting.

The meeting was told that on the direction of the Punjab chief minister, Rs 50 million were released last year for the construction of Aiwan-e-Quaid-e-Azam Complex whereas further funds of Rs100 million will be released during the month of July. The complex is a multipurpose so that the objectives of the Nazria Pakistan could be transferred to the new generation.
