SARGODHA - The sessions court of Sargodha has grant an interim bail to the accused persons in a lawyer’s thrashing case.
Shahid Nazir Khan Advocate was thrashed by the accused in the remits of Satellite Town police station. He is the lawyer of 70 years old school teacher Nafees Khan who was allegedly tortured by PPP leader Aslam Madhiyana and his accomplices. However, the Lahore High Court will hear the bail application of Aslam Madhyana on May 30.
RPO suspends SHO: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Amjed Javeed Saleemi has suspended Factory Area Police SHO Inspector Mirza Saddique on charges of corruption, inefficiency and malpractices. He has also posted Sub-inspector (SI) Khalil Shah as new SHO.
Robbers on the rampage: Robbers and thieves deprived dozens of people of cash, cellphones and other valuables in various area across the district. These incidents were happened in the jurisdictions of Bhagtanwala Police Station, Laksian and Jhal Chakian. The police have registered cases on the reports of affected persons.
