ISLAMABAD - Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) Senator Mian Raza Rabbani said that the committee has received the recommendations from political parties on the issue of missing persons.Talking to media persons after the committee's meeting, Senator Mian Raza Rabbani said that the recommendations from various political parties and other stakeholders on this issue would be taken up by the committee in its next meeting scheduled on May 31 and they would definitely be taking help from these recommendations in the drafting of the final report on the subject. He further said that in the May 31 meeting, the Interior Ministry would also be reflect on the draft recommendations and the same evening the committee would finalise its recommendations which would accordingly be presented before the Parliament.Replying to a question about unabated drone attacks he termed it a breach of country's sovereignty and against the national pride and quickly added that the government's stance on it was quite clear. "Even Amnesty International has also condemned these attacks, demanding their immediate cessation in Yemen and Pakistan," he remarked. Referring to the question about 18th Amendment, he was of the view that an effective implementation on it could help resolve the sordid issues of Provincial autonomy.  He also expressed his deep regrets and concern over the issues of mutilated dead bodies and missing persons, demanding their immediate end. Commenting on resolutions of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) over the issue of Balochistan, he agreed that SCBA had no doubt brought all segments of society on one platform on this flaming issue which is commendable but quickly added that all the contents of the resolution were not agreeable.He emphasised on bringing Balochistan's armed dissidents in mainstream by announcing general pardon and to offer them unconditional dialogue without comprising on country's national interests.  Replying to another question, he stressed the need of evolving broader alliance on issues of national importance between all the major stakeholders including Judiciary and Parliament, so that the country could move forward on road to progress and prosperity.
