According to political analysts, the election of 2013 is the victory of democracy in Pakistan. People took more interest in these elections, as compared to previous elections and according to the Chief Election Commissioner, the voter turnout was almost 60 percent. It is a reflection of the increasing political awareness in Pakistan, which is a good sign for democracy. These factors will play their role in enhancing stability and durability of political process. For the promotion of political maturity in public, our media, politicians, religious personalities played a major role and we also can’t deny the role of PTI’s leadership. The people are now anxious to see how these parties will work out a good governance plan in all four provinces as they have huge challenges to face.
