Karach- Rattled over the assassinations of party activists, the Coordination Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) voiced concerns over the arrest of party workers by rangers .
The Rabita Committee demanded Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad to ensure the safety of the arrested workers , pleading to immediately release them, in case they have no cases against them.
In a statement issued here, the MQM’s central decision-making body said the party’s workers including Sohail, Wajahat, Adnan Zaidi, Fahad Iftikhar, Khurram Rasheed and sympathizer Umar hailing from unit-180 of Nazimabad and Gulbahar Sector, have been rounded up from their areas. A worker of Landhi sector unit-86 has also been apprehended.
