Islamabad: National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence unanimously adopted a resolution calling upon the government to take up the matter of Indian Defence Minister support to terrorism  with the UN Security Council and the international community as it endangers the whole world today.

The committee met in the parliament house with MNA Shaikh Rohale Asghar in Chair and also warned that such motives of India poses serious threats for India’s neighbors, and endangers peace and stability not only the nuclear armed South Asia but in the whole world.

The resolution further said that it may be time for the world community to determine, whether Indian hegemonic policies are the problem or a solution to the issues of peace and stability in the region.

Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar last week while referring to Pakistan and any other countries said that terrorism could be counter by terrorism and for this end “why our soldiers should be used against terrorism, terrorists should do it for us”.

The resolution condemned the statement of the Indian minister in strong possible words, while saying that India is already carrying out state sponsor terrorism at home and in the region as well as Pakistan. “Pakistan is countering terrorism, and suffered a lot.”
